Dawn Princess – Venice to Sydney August 2013 – Post 8

Cannes 6/9

It wasn’t too crowded when we were there because it was approaching the end of the high season there. Apparently much of this city shuts down across the winter months. Another interesting place to visit.

Ship’s tenders being readied to take passengers ashore.
Naturally, this is a place for luxurious private yachts.
I particularly like the style of this older yacht.

Interesting fresh food market.

Beautiful French cheeses.
I visited this interesting art gallery. This tiger is made entirely from coat hangers.

This portrait of Chairman Mao is made from plastic toy soldiers.
